EVA ORNER's directorial film debut, although she had produced several films for ALEX GIBNEY, including the Academy Award winning TAXI TO THE DARKSIDE .
I'll add that, we owe a lot to filmmakers who brave into the front lines of unfamiliar worlds to bring us back pictures and stories. These invaluable depictions create understanding and compassion for those with whom we share this world.
This film was a Nominated for the Audience Award at SxSW and won the Heartland Film Festival.
