Few documentaries follow a straight path. Brand: A Second Coming passed through the hands of several remarkable filmmakers, beginning with Albert Maysles and Oliver Stone before Clay Tweel and I directed the project for several years. Although the film ultimately reached completion under Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Ondi Timoner, I'm grateful that some of the work we created continues to live on in the finished documentary.
