Working alongside longtime collaborators Seth Gordon, Clay Tweel, and Mary Rohlich, we created the film's animated interstitials and main title sequence. Through a mix of handcrafted animation, stop-motion, and graphic design, we brought the authors' stories to life in ways that felt playful, inventive, and unmistakably DIY.
There's something uniquely satisfying about building things yourself. The result may not be perfect, but it often carries an energy that's difficult to manufacture.
