How do you make a documentary about a single photograph? That was the challenge at the heart of Chevolution. Co-directed with Trisha Ziff, the film traces the remarkable journey of Alberto Korda's iconic image of Che Guevara, exploring how one photograph became a global symbol while raising enduring questions about politics, art, commerce, and cultural mythology.

The editing is superb and Ziff and Lopez have assembled a remarkable line-up of speakers. It's a critical work about propaganda and is far from being propagandistic."
